Not sure how I have missed this blog the Selby, but it quite a little gem. It’s always fun to get a glimpse into other creatives houses. I love to see how people work and create and interesting space to live in. This couple Fanny Bostrom, artist and Bill Gentle, photographer seemed really fun! And I love the backyard it is my dream to have a backyard like that. They also have some really inspiring work check them out here. Enjoy!
I finally made it over to the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene. It was so fun to walk around all the shops, I just love flea markets! Here are some of my favorites…
1. MACHA Jewelry by Bernice Kelly
I stopped by Bernice’s tent where she was selling some of her beautiful handcrafted pieces. I picked up a gorgeous set of bangles that I just love. She also had some great vintage clothing. Be sure to stop by and say “hi” she will be there for the next couple of weeks!
These beautiful photos by John Murphy really caught my eye. The colors are just so bright and beautiful. They’re sure to make you very happy even on a cold winter day! The frames really complement the photographs nicely and are almost as interesting as the photographs themselves. Check out his shop on etsy, be sure to stop by his tent and say “hi”!
It’s time to go back to Costa Rica! I have just booked our flights and I can’t wait. Some of our favorite spots to visit there are Mal Pais, Playa Hermosa, Playa Samara and Rincon de la Vieja. I am looking forward to rice and beans for breakfast and the best seafood rice I have ever had. Oh and of coarse a pina colada! These photos were all taken by Steve Lawrence thank you much!
