These are a few of my favorite things from the past week that I wanted to share with you!

I had a wonderful time last week visiting the Museum of the Moving Image. They have a wonderful area on the top floor to make stop motion animations it was so much fun we didn’t want to leave! If you are in the Long Island City area I suggest taking a trip to visit, on Fridays it is also free after 4:00pm.

The Queen of Spades ring is a new design made from sterling silver that has been antiqued.  The original design was created from a beautiful vintage piece of lace I had found and recreated in wax.  There is another version of this, which I will post soon, it is called the Queen of Hearts it is very similar, but it has a double row of hearts.

The Edward Steichan Photograph of Gloria Swanson is a personal favorite of mine and I hope you enjoy it too!

from wax to look like it was found in an ancient archeological dig.

I currently share a studio with two talented artist’s,  Aly Bowkett Derby and Kyoko Kato. We have decided to give our beautiful studio in Brooklyn a name, Atelier KKD.  Next Saturday we will be having our very first open studio next .  I do hope you can join us!

New items have been added to my etsy shop! All hand made original 24karas designs. The latest pieces were inspired by our trip to Ireland were I was in love with all the old coins we saw at the Museum in Dublin.

These are two new pieces inspired by warm summer nights. The Vine Ring is available to purchase at my etsy shop it is available in sterling silver and brass. It was hand carved from wax with intricate vines and leaves flowing through it.

The Pillow Flower necklace is one of a kind and was hand sawed form brass, soldered together and hammered to give it a fluffy look.
